International Christmas Swap 2011

I did join the International Christmas Swap from organized by Catarina from /http://leminisdicockerina.blogspot.com/

This is what Cristina Diego made for me, a wonderful decorated Christmas tree with real working light! and that's not all, she also made a lovely bowl full of Christmas sweets, abunch of flowers and she also included some nice old fashioned mode pictures (not on the photo). I feel so spoiled, thank you Cristina. I love it!

Because my photo is coming out blurry all the time, i don't know why, i borrowed Cristina's photo.

So you girls and some guys can see how much Cristina spoiled me.

This is what i made for Kaisa, i had so much fun making it.

I also received by mail(i know a blurry photo again)this crocheted wreath made by Carmen,
i joined her give-away and she made some extra prizes, so i was very lucky.

Summer Swap

I was a member of the Summer- Swap hosted by Catarina of de lovely blog Le Mini's de Cockerina.

It was so much fun and i am so very spoiled.

Valeria from the lovely blog Pivva made this gorgious picknick table for me.

 Everything on it you could wish for a lovely picknic in the sun.

Bread, sandwiches cheese, salami, another sort of sausages on a string, a healthy salade in a lovely wooden bowl and even little bottles of Coca Cola.

There is even a knife to cut the salami.

Salade with eggs and tomato and yellow peppers.

Mmmmmmm

Update about Christmas Swap

First i wanna wish all you lovely creative and friendly readers a Happy and Healthy New Year.

I know i am very late with that but that's because i was not blogging for a while.

So i also have some catching up to do.

I was participating at the Christmas Swap hosted by Catarina.

My Swap partner was Lisette and this is what she made for me:

   

 She made some lovely mini's and as a bonus she gave me this Lucky Santa.

Let me translate what's on the card:

The bonequinas are made in Braziel.

If you wear one on your haert it gave you health.

With a bonequina in your wallet you spend less money.

In the car he offers protection.

And.....if you have a bonequina in your pocket, you receive lots of passion.

Mmmmm, now i don't know where i want to put him.

So he is protecting my dollshouse at the moment.

 She made this lovely autumn wreath

 and very beautifull wooden toys .

The doll really has movable arms and legs!

I am so lucky to have her as a swappartner, she really spoild me.

 Here my little girl is holding the tiny snowman.

 and my other girl is playing with the pig on wheels.

I made some mini's for Rosamarie 

and she was happy with them,she wrote about them  on her blog.

She makes real nice mini's too and she has also some nice crosstich charts for miniature embroidery.

So now your up to date.

I did not make any mini's yet in this year..

As soon as i make something new, i will post it.

Yes!!

Today is finally the day that i am alowed to open my Holliday Swap gift from Monika.

Mmm what should be in it, i am so exited.

Let me show you the nice words she wrote .

Is it tunafishsalat lite?

No, look what was insite it....

A lot of wonderfull miniatures,

everything you need on a long walking trip.

A backpack, walking shoes, walking stick, a book of Saalburg, baquet, fruit on a plate, dessert, a napkin, a paper bag and a flower.

So very beautifull and handmade.

So you can see the pattern in the leather she used.

a verybeutifull back too.

looks like i can walk all day in them.

The book of Saalburg has a lot of nice real pages in them.

You see what i mean?

There is also a mouthwatering baquet with egs and salat,

a sweet desert/cake and

fruit for the vitamines on a lovey green plate,with a green napkin.

Holliday Swap

Here is my swap gift for Karin.

I must confess , i send it a little too late

but.....

The unwrapping of the Holliday Swap's hosted by Caterina is pursponed till friday 16th,

so we all have to be a little more patience...

And my gift will arive in Canada still in time now.(i hope)

It was the first time for me to swap and i love it, even when it gave me a little stress to made everything in a time limit.

I feel so blessed with these group of lovely friends here in blogland.

Look what was in my mailbox today and last week!!

A beautifull wrapped present from Monica, my Holliday Swap Partner.

I have to be waith till 14 july to open it, thats the rule of Cockerina(the host of the Holliday swap).

That's very hard for me because i am very curious.

Another present came last week from Sonia.

So nice of her and well made.

Such a beautifull surprice.

Two days (swap holliday trip) in Amsterdam

I take Karin for a two day(virtual) trip to Amsterdam.

From Rotterdam (Where i live) to Amsterdam it is only one our by train.

We arive at Central Station.

The outsite of Central station is a very beautifull building.

The best way to see a lot of the center of Amsterdam is to go by bike.

Its very nice weather at the moment,so the bike would be very cool...hahaha.

But we go by the tram.

Its only a couple of stops to the nine streets..a very nice shopping area, with lots of nice smal shops.

Wat mijn mond niet zeggen kan,

What my mouth can not say,

say's tulips from Amsterdam.

After shopping we take a canel cruise, the best way to see the canel houses, tipical for Amsterdam.

Next day we start very early..9 in the morning.

We go to the monday market...my favorite market in Amsterdam.

You have there a part with new stuf and a lot of fabrics,and you have a second hand part..where you can find al sorts of second hand stuf..clotches, brocante antiques etc.

For lunch we eat Hearing, called zoute haring or Hollandsche Nieuwe.

MMMmmm i hope you like it too,i think it is tipacal Dutch.

In Rotterdam people eat it lake this...take the fish by its tale and bite , this is how my man does it.

But i like to eat it the Amsterdam way...in pieces with pickels and onions.

Than we go to the Vondel park to rest a little and enjoy the nature.

Walking true the park on the other end of it there is the ....

Rijks museum.

Here we can see lots of art, but also a couple of nice old Dollshouses.

It is already late when we come out of the museum, so much to see there.

We go walk a little in the city to find a nice restaurant for dinner.

Today is the first day of summervacation here in Holland and i am free from work, so i have more time now to work on my mini's and blog.
