Garlic, Grapes and Watermelons

We made some garlic.
 Together more then 100 cloves.
We made some extra for our dollshouses.
Here is how it is on a string hanging on our carts
The grapes we made last week together.
I made some watermelons too for my mum and me.
 Our fruitcarts are almost finnished.
I still want to make patatoes, i have a little spot for that left and ofcourse a lady who sells the fruit.
Next week we are going to make paper bags together.
And i want to paint my scale, my mother love the original color so she glued it already to the cart.
My mum was not happy with the color of her pears, so she painted them.
Oh how i love these evenings with my mum and i am so happy we have the same hobby.

Talking about people with the same hobby, this blog has now 400 followers!!! so there will be a little Give-Away to celebrate soon.
Thank you all for following me and all the nice comments you leave on my blog, i really appriciate it and i love to read them.

With 400 followers you must understand that i don't read your blogs everyday but i love to visit your blogs once in a while....you all have so much talent, everybody in there own style.
That is what i like so much about it.
There are a lot of followers who i like to visit back, but there blog is not showing in there profile...please cheque if yours is showing.

Now i have to think what i shall  clay, crochet, embroider, glue or saw for you.
If you have sugestions for my Give-Away please let me know, don't be shy.

A apple a day keeps the doctor away

My mum and i, even when we make the same fruit, it still looks diffrent.
We used the same color fimo.
Tinted it with calk before baking.
After baking and cooling down, we give it a coat of gloss varnish.
My mum made pears. (sorry for the blurry photo)
 I made paprika's.
 I love the colors together.
I made a half crate of little tomatoes.
I did not glue the boxes to the cart yet, so i can change the combination if i want.
Do you like it so far?
Any questions....please don't be shy and ask.
Hugs

I am so proud of her.

Also in this issue: Lisette from Lisette's miniaturen is talking about the shop she made herself.
If your not familiar with her blog please take a look, she is very talented and has a very nice blog.

Yesterday my mum and me made some apples for the fruitcart.
Photo's are coming soon.
Wish you all a very nice day.

Banana boxes and a greengrocer.

My mum and i glued together the bananaboxes that i printed earlier.
I saw them at a site more then a year ago and printed them on my work.
Sorry girls and guys, i don't remember were they from.
If you have them on your site or know were you can find them, please let me know.
Then we painted a part of the inside a matching color.
So you don't see the white when they are filled.
I made a little crate also and ofcourse my mother is 10 or better say 20 steps ahaid and she made the perfect man to sell her fruit and veggies.
She made him out of Fimo with a flexable body.
Dressed him with a nice sweater, jeans and a cap. all made by herself.
Look at his shoes aren't they fit for standing a long time?
She used barbie shoes and painted them.
He has a moustache (and hair) from real hair.
I love how she made his jeans, they even got pockets.
I have to make a man or woman too for my cart, but i don't think mine is a beautiful as this guy.
I am not good in making dolls.
But i give it a try anyway.
You only get better in doing things by practice it a lot.
Bey bey, see you next time.

Het Gouden Schaartje (The Golden Scissor)

I promised to show more mini's of my mum on this blog, so here is her sewingshop called "Het Gouden Schaartje".
She made this shop in a antiek case that normally holds a sewingmachine.
This is one of my favorite projects of her.
The photo's don't do justice.
It is way more nicer in real life.

That's all for now...more to come later.

Happy Birthday Mam

Today is my mams Birthday.

Lieve mama, van harte gefeliciteerd, nog vele gezonde en gelukkige jaren.
Een hele fijne dag, tot vanmiddag.

My mother is the youngest of tree sisters and mother of tree girls, i am the oldest.

Sinds i infected her with the miniature virus, it is her greatest hobby.
She is making something for the dollshouse every day.
She is already retired so she has a lot of time to do that, resulting in a lot of houses and projects.
What she like most is knitting in miniature and making dolls from fimo.
Here are some examples of her work.
A roombox full of knitwork.
 Some of the contents:

This is a roombox called at the Photographer.
She made a replica of the drawing made by Anton Pieck.
A lot of our family photo's are in there and she made the dolls and almost everything in there.
The picture on the leftside  is her wedding picture.
This drawing is what inspired her.
Mam, thank for your love and  Happy Birthday!!!
