International Christmas Swap 2011

I did join the International Christmas Swap from organized by Catarina from /http://leminisdicockerina.blogspot.com/

This is what Cristina Diego made for me, a wonderful decorated Christmas tree with real working light! and that's not all, she also made a lovely bowl full of Christmas sweets, abunch of flowers and she also included some nice old fashioned mode pictures (not on the photo). I feel so spoiled, thank you Cristina. I love it!

Because my photo is coming out blurry all the time, i don't know why, i borrowed Cristina's photo.

So you girls and some guys can see how much Cristina spoiled me.

This is what i made for Kaisa, i had so much fun making it.

I also received by mail(i know a blurry photo again)this crocheted wreath made by Carmen,
i joined her give-away and she made some extra prizes, so i was very lucky.

Day 10 of the hobby-corners

No, we're not done.

There is still some thing to make for our hobby-corners.

This is what we made on our mother daughter evening:

Yes, little spools of sewing thread!

 Here are more of them, i see now that they are not standing straight.

I also made tree "glass" potts from a piece of a pen, still have to make the lids from fimo-clay and fill them with beads.

 I also crochet a little bag for some wool.

 I am not so happy with it, the holes are to big.

 My mother made this plant.

 and these two,

and this Hedera.

 I also put a Hedera against the wall.

And a pot with some stakes, still have to make a rose to go in there.

The pots are lids saw in half.

Next week we are going to make desk lamps, i make roses and the lids of the potts and maybe more fimo things.

I also want to make a rug, so not finished at all!!

Some of you were already sad the project was finished, but we still have to add more bits and bobs.

So stay tuned.

I am already starting to paint the little shop i bought at the Arnhem Fair.

This is going to be a baby-shop.

This is just to show you what i am doing, first layer of paint is on.

I want to ad more color.

Oooh yes i know i am strange, i start so many projects at the same time.

I am also still working on my big dollshouse.

But hey i like it!

Day 7 of the corners, i made a box for my bundles of wool and the chairs are ready!

Day 7, another nice evening of crafting with my mother, this is what wa have done:

 I made a box/basket for the bundles.

 I made a litle piece of crochet to go in there as well.

 I am very proud of the result.

 This clothespin is normaly to hang your Christmas card on a string.

In my corner it holds some dollshouse pictures.

 In my mums corner it hold some patterns.

 We also winded some tread on cards.

 Yes our chairs are ready, mine ....

 and my mums chair.

 Here is where i put my threads, in a clear box that first was to hold the chewing gum.

I see on the picture there need some more of the blue foil rubbed of.

In the back you see a little roombox i made earlier.

My computer was doing okay after a Windows update, but acting strange again now, same problem again.

Day 4 of the corners/ wooden beads and more

Oke, i let you wait for the results of last wednesday, because i had a litlle party.

Look here what we did.

My mother wanted her bureau a bit higher, because she had a gorgious sewing table she wanted to put in her corner.

She glued 6 wooden beads under it, now it has the good hight.

 This is the sewingtable, isn't it gorgious.

No she didn't made it, but she bought it at a car boot sale a while ago.

 The rug she made during last week.

It is knotted and then the dreads are cut smaller.

She also knitted this vest and skirt last week.

I love the buttons she used.

You can see my mother had more time.

She is not working anymore.

I did nothing last week, well not making miniatures, i did a lot but no time for making mini's.

I am so happy my mother comes on wednesday evening, so i have to make time for mini's.

I love our evenings together.

This is what i did with beads.

 I took 4 beads.

 I sawed a square to go on top and tadaaaa! I made a stool.

 Then i first painted the top bleu and crocheted acover for the top.

 I crocheted a granny square and when the square was as big as the top i crocheted in round.

Oke that was all folks.
