Banana boxes and a greengrocer.

My mum and i glued together the bananaboxes that i printed earlier.

I saw them at a site more then a year ago and printed them on my work.

Sorry girls and guys, i don't remember were they from.

If you have them on your site or know were you can find them, please let me know.

Then we painted a part of the inside a matching color.

So you don't see the white when they are filled.

 I made a little crate also and ofcourse my mother is 10 or better say 20 steps ahaid and she made the perfect man to sell her fruit and veggies.

 She made him out of Fimo with a flexable body.

 Dressed him with a nice sweater, jeans and a cap. all made by herself.

 Look at his shoes aren't they fit for standing a long time?

She used barbie shoes and painted them.

 He has a moustache (and hair) from real hair.

 I love how she made his jeans, they even got pockets.

 I have to make a man or woman too for my cart, but i don't think mine is a beautiful as this guy.

I am not good in making dolls.

But i give it a try anyway.

You only get better in doing things by practice it a lot.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to all my readers and followers.

This is one of the first dolls my mother made for me, she has a job in the Candyshop i made years ago.

The Candy filled Easter Bunny she is holding, i made from a see true straw filled with cake decoration. The Bunny's face i made from fimo and the collar is made from a piece of doily.

 In the dutch" Dollhouse  Nederland", magazine with her tutorial of making this sweater.

I think my mother is going to be very famouse.

My mother made the sweater, cap and jeans.

The lovely porcelein doll is made by Angelique, she sells them at fairs and she has a website:

My mother really liked the nice comments on her needlework shop and want to thank all of you all, give you all the greetings and kisses back.

She wants to do something for you all and she is making a swaeter for a Give-Away.

When it is finneshed she will anounce it on my blog, and we have a little Give-Away party...so not yet.

Happy Birthday Mam

Today is my mams Birthday.

Lieve mama, van harte gefeliciteerd, nog vele gezonde en gelukkige jaren.

Een hele fijne dag, tot vanmiddag.

My mother is the youngest of tree sisters and mother of tree girls, i am the oldest.

Sinds i infected her with the miniature virus, it is her greatest hobby.

She is making something for the dollshouse every day.

She is already retired so she has a lot of time to do that, resulting in a lot of houses and projects.

What she like most is knitting in miniature and making dolls from fimo.

 A lot of our family photo's are in there and she made the dolls and almost everything in there.

 The picture on the leftside  is her wedding picture.

 This drawing is what inspired her.

 Look, there is a fireplace in the bedroom, how romantic.

 Lots of books and modern red lamps at the other side of the bedroom.

 The livingroom has a fireplace too, and a hunting theme,

 Here is the kitchen..so clean and organized,

and a badroom ofcourse.

Boy with skatedoard.

 Look at this funny little boy playing with his skateboard.

 He is made by my mother specially for me.

She made him out of Fimo and dressed him in jeans and knitted a sweater for him.

He is wearing leather sandals.

The only thing she bought (in the toyshop) is his skateboard.

My mum likes too make dolls very much.

I think she makes a doll a day.

I infected her with the Dollshouse/Miniatures Virus a couple of years ago.

She is retired and has a lot of time to make mini's (a lot more time than me).

She has a canalhouse, cafe with upstairs living, a little candyshop, a wool and sewing shop in a sewingmachine- case, a serre, a whole fancy-fair,a leathershop with lots of bags in it in a leather bag, a clockshop in a clockcase and many more...

I remember when she started..

She wanted to buy a big dollshouse to fill (her canalhouse) .

She told me:" I want a big house so i only have one house and stick with one house or project."

I said to her... "No mum, we shall see, if this house is full you are hoked and you sure want more.

She didn't believe me at that time, but i was right, see now is totally hooked on making miniatures."

She specially likes too knit and make dolls.

Ones a week she comes too my house in the evening and we are making a project together or just chat about our mini-ideas.

I feel so lucky that we now share the same hobby and i am very glad i infected her.

 He seems to have a lot of fun with his skateboard.

He is not working there, his clothes are more like a bussiness man.

My mother made me this man.

I am so happy with him!

I don't know his role jet.

For now i gave him a box and a sunflower in his hands, but that can be changed.

He is not the father of the house.
